Biography
Richard Dinnick is a writer of scripts, prose and non-fiction. He has written scrits for audio (CD) release as well as books. He is also currently developing several TV ideas - one in conjunction with BBC Writers' Room.
He writes audio drama scripts and prose fiction for SF franchises such as Doctor Who, Stargate and Sapphire & Steel. He has also contributed to the Doctor Who comic strip.
Richard is also a journalist who started out on local news and ended up on 'Fleet Street'. He contributes to SF magazines such as Doctor Who DVD Files and Doctor Who Insider magazines.
He has just finished his first original, fantasy novel about the world of dreams and nightmares, Dreamstorm, which is with his agents, Blake Friedmann.

JOURNALISM
Richard has been a journalist for over 20 years, cutting his teeth on local news in Surrey before moving onto business magazines; starting at Director as editorial assistant before moving to Real Business as assistant editor.
In the late 90s, he decided to specialise in the internet and moved onto Internet Magazine. During this time he appeared on numerous TV and radio programmes talking about internet-related matters. He was also shortlisted for the PTC journalist of the year award in 1999.

SHERLOCK HOLMES ADAPTATIONS
Richard is working on adaptaions of two Sherlock Holmes stories for Big Finish. The Hound of the Baskervilles is due for release in December 2011 and The Tangled Skein in January 2012.
THE DOCTOR'S WHEELS!
Richard's article about the Doctor's cars - Bessie and "the Alien" (otherwise known as the Whomobile) has been published in issue 7 of Doctor Who Insider. Richard will have more pieces appearing in the magazine in the near future.
RICHARD'S DOCTOR WHO BOOK - OUT NOW!
Richard's 2in1 Doctor Who novel has been released by Penguin/BBC Books. Called Alien Adventures, the book features both his own story The Underwater War and Rain of Terror by Mike Tucker.
