Doctor Who: Alien Adventures (The Underwater War)

RELEASED: SEPT 2011

The Underwater War is the latest in BBC Childrens Books range (an imprint of Penguin Childrens Books) of shorter chapter books for readers aged 12 and under along side Rain of Terror by Mike Tucker.

The Big Finish Companion

 The Big Finish Companion

RELEASED: FEBRUARY 2011

Big Finish has announced The Big Finish Companion by Richard Dinnick, a hardback coffee table guide to every Big Finish audio title released. It's the definitive episode guide and collectors’ check list - every cast member, all crew details, full synopses – including spoilers! It includes all production codes and story trivia along with recommendations for plays you may like and collections of behind-the-scenes photography.

In fact, The Big Finish Companion includes everything you’ve ever wanted to know about any of the audio ranges produced by the company. Split into two volumes, the first part of the ultimate compendium of Big Finish plays will be published later this year, with a second to be published in 2011.

Written by Richard Dinnick, journalist and, himself, a writer of audio dramas for Big Finish (Sapphire & Steel, Bernice Summerfield, Stargate), The Big Finish Companion will provide introductions to all the ranges with new interviews conducted with the producers and scriptwriters. It also provides the reader with profiles of the companions that Big Finish created for the Doctor Who ranges.

A History of the Internet

RELEASED: SEPTEMBER 2002

A History of the Internet was written as a mini folow-up to The Internet Atlas as part of the Pocket Essentials range.

It was published by Pocket Essentials in late 2002 in the UK. At the time, this was the first work of history that actually asked the people who created the net what happened.

As such it was the first to debunk the idea that the internet had been created specifically to withstand a nuclear war. This was just a happy by-product!

The Internet Atlas

RELEASED: NOVEMBER 2000

The Internet Atlas was written at the height of the dot-com boom. At the time Richard was the site reviews editor on the industry's leading title, Internet Magazine.

It was published by Parkgate/PRC in late 2000 in the UK, US and Australia and was a personal selection of Richard's suggested websites for a range of topics such as news, holidays, entertainment, business, etc.

Space 1889 - The Lunar Inherritance

The Lunar Inherritance

"It's all very campy and retro, following in the footsteps of such pioneering genre writers as Verne and Haggard, and reminiscent of vintage radio shows of the early 20th century."
